Looking to add the SSL crown to their collection in another perfect run, the Lady Bulldogs have a slight advantage against the same team they swept in the University Athletic Association of the Philippines Season 84 Finals for having a fluid and battle-tested core. The Lady Bulldogs won all of their previous seven matches including a 25-23, 23-25, 25-21, 25-17, victory over University of Santo Tomas in the knockout semifinal last November 11.
“La Salle is a very strong team and it will be a big challenge for us. They have a good system and we know they are a champion team. Just like us, they go all-out whatever team they go up against,” Dimaculangan said.The Lady Spikers survived a tough challenge against Adamson University last week, needing five sets to beat the Lady Falcons, 25-16, 18-25, 25-23, 22-25, 15-8, and forge a rematch against the Lady Bulldogs.
