The first was Escarlan Dela Cruz, also known as Boboy, who was arrested over the weekend in Caloocan City for four counts of sexual assault and a violation of the Anti-Child Abuse Act.

This resulted in the arrest of Dela Cruz, who ranked number 10 in the list of most wanted persons in the district. Authorities also arrested Wilfredo Pagary Villanueva along Diamante Street, Barangay 170, also in Caloocan City.His arrest was made based on the warrant issued by Judge Ma. Teresa D. Alvarez of Caloocan Regional Trial Court Branch 131 for two counts of rape.
