Sources familiar with the plans indicate that over 200 such orders could be released, aiming to make a significant impact across various policy areas.
In his inaugural address, Trump declared his intention to address immigration by declaring illegal immigration a national emergency, deploying troops to the US-Mexico border, and reinstating his 'Remain in Mexico' policy. He pledged to halt all illegal entries and detain all migrants apprehended crossing the border illegally. Furthermore, Trump will issue a sweeping proclamation aimed at blocking access to all asylum seekers at the Mexican border, an incoming Trump administration official revealed. He will also issue an order seeking to end birthright citizenship for US-born children whose parents lack legal immigration status, citing the 14th Amendment to the US Constitution.Trump's economic agenda will likely include revoking what he has termed an electric vehicle mandate, imposing tariffs and taxes on countries to enrich Americans, and establishing an 'External Revenue Service' to collect tariffs, duties, and revenues. He also intends to sign an executive order ending transgender rights in the US military and inside US schools, and plans to act on his first day to stop the participation of transgender athletes in women's sports.
