MANILA, Philippines — As Typhoon 'Ofel' whips parts of Northern Luzon, another tropical cyclone, 'Man-yi' (international name) is forecast to enter the Philippine Area of Responsibility (PAR) on Thursday evening, according to the state-run weather agency.

It has also been predicted to make landfall over the eastern coast of Luzon during the weekend, Saturday or Sunday, it added.'Since this tropical cyclone may reach typhoon category while over the Philippine Sea, the possibility of Man-yi to reach super typhoon category prior to landfall is also not ruled out,' the Pagasa chief said.
