Tipsters who squealed information that led to the arrest of an alleged consultant for the National Democratic Front of the Philippines and eight other fugitives got a total of P7.9 million as reward during a ceremony at Camp Crame in Quezon City.
One of those arrested was Alfredo Mapano, an NDF consultant who was arrested in 2009 and was re-arrested in 2020 while already starting to have a new life as a government employee.
