Estomo’s appointment as PNP Deputy Chief for Operations would pave the way for his promotion to the rank of Police Lieutenant General since the position is a three-star rank post. Azurin said Police Maj. Gen. Edgar Alan Okubo will replace his classmate Estomo as director of the National Capital Region Police Office.
