The Philippine weather bureau, Pagasa, reports that three weather systems - Shear Line, Intertropical Convergence Zone (ITCZ), and Easterlies - are causing widespread rain showers and thunderstorms across the country. Heavy rains are expected to bring possible flash floods and landslides in various regions.
Three weather systems still continue to bring cloudy skies, rain showers and thunderstorms across the Philippines , state weather bureau Pagasa said before dawn on Sunday.In its 4 a.m. weather advisory, Pagasa said that Shear Line is affecting Extreme Northern Luzon, the Intertropical Convergence Zone prevails over Southern Mindanao, and the Easterlies is affecting the rest of the country.
Possible flash floods or landslides due to moderate to at times heavy rains will be experienced in mainland Cagayan, Isabela, Aurora, and Quezon province.Meanwhile, the ITCZ is affecting northern Mindanao that could possibly spawn flash floods or landslides due to moderate to at times heavy rains, particularly in the Davao region, Zamboanga Peninsula, BARMM, Sultan Kudarat, South Cotabato, and Sarangani.
