What do you think of this proposal?
Quezon City is aiming to make Tomas Morato Avenue the next Sunday car-free zone in Metro Manila. And unlike other implementations of the scheme that run for a few hours or half a day, Tomas Morato could go carless for the entire day.
Tomas Morato Avenue’s begins at the vicinity of ABS-CBN Broadcasting Center and runs all the way to E. Rodriguez Sr. Avenue, crossing most streets in Quezon City’s Scout area. The Boy Scout Circle at the intersection of Tomas Morato and Timog Avenue is a known landmark. During evenings and on weekends, residents and visitors flock to the thoroughfare, which is lined with restaurants.
