THE Taguig City government has announced the opening of a park in Barangay Lower Bicutan as a “contemplative space for prayer and reflection this Holy Week.”
At the park, visitors can walk through the 14 Stations of the Cross, each featuring a Bible verse, a reflection passage, and an activity or question to ponder upon. At the center of TLC Square stands a symbolic red cross installation. Visitors can write on black paper post-its the bad habits they wish to let go of as an act of repentance. Additionally, visitors can express their gratitude messages by pinning them on the Message Corner.The Life of Christ also offers visitors choir performances and film showings of the life of Christ, further enriching their understanding of the Holy Week.
“In our Probinsyudad, we are lucky that the traditions remain alive. You can find the amenities of a modern city, but not forgetting our rich culture and traditions,” she said.
