The Taguig City government has vaccinated more than 22,000 minors aged 12 to 17 years old who are residents or non-residents and are studying in Taguig.
Taguig started vaccinating minors on Oct. 25, and as of Nov. 18, a total of 22,112 children have received their first dose based on data provided by the Taguig Vaccination Task Force as reported by the city government.Among the 22,112 minor first-dose recipients, 1,486 have received their second dose.
In Taguig, minors with comorbidities, or classified under Pediatric A3 group, and those without comorbidities are vaccinated at the Medical Center Taguig and St. Luke’s Medical Center in Bonifacio Global City. According to the 2015 Census of the Philippine Statistics Authority , Taguig has 86,972 minors aged 12 to 17 years old.
