MANILA, Philippines – Super Typhoon Goring was crossing the Balintang Channel, located between Batanes and Babuyan Islands, in the early hours of Wednesday, August 30.
It is expected to maintain a northwest or west northwest direction offshore until it leaves the Philippine Area of Responsibility on Wednesday night or Thursday morning, August 31. It has not made landfall.
