Severe Tropical Storm 'Ineng' will continue to bring monsoon rains over parts of Luzon and Visayas even if it is set to leave the Philippine territory on Saturday afternoon, the state weather bureau says.
Severe Tropical Storm “Ineng” has made landfall in the Southern part of Taiwan, but will continue to bring monsoon rains over parts of Luzon and Visayas, the weather bureau said.
PAGASA said residents of the Ilocos Region, Cordillera Administrative Region, Batanes, the northern portion of Cagayan , Zambales, and Bataan may still expect moderate to heavy rains Saturday evening. The weather bureau noted Ineng is still on track to leave the Philippine Area of Responsibility early Saturday evening.
