Tropical storm InengPH moves closer to Taiwan-Batanes Area
“Ineng” has accelerated further, and is moving close to Batanes, the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration reported Saturday.
In its 4 a.m. bulletin, Pagasa reported that Ineng was located at 110 km east Northeast of Basco, Batanes with maximum sustained winds of 100km/hr near the center and gustiness of up to 135km/h. It is moving Northwest at a speed of 25 km/hr. Ineng is expected to leave the Philippine Area of Responsibility between Saturday late afternoon or evening.Moderate to heavy rains may prevail over Ilocos Region, Cordillera Administrative Region, Batanes, Cagayan , Zambales, Bataan, Mindoro Provinces, and northern portions of Palawan . Light to moderate with intermittent heavy rains may be experienced over Metro Manila, Cavite, Laguna, Batangas, Rizal, Aklan, Antique, Iloilo, Guimaras, and the rest of Central Luzon and Cagayan Valley.
