JOHN'S, N.L. — St. John's city staff are recommending that council move to design a shared-use path on the south side of Canada Drive following an engagement campaign into active transportation options in the area.to improve active transportation and road safety on Canada Drive.
Following the public engagement, the city found that there was no definitive agreement on which option was preferred. Canada Drive residents mostly prefer the shared-use path, while citywide, there was a preference for dedicated bike lanes.
