ContributedSTRATFORD, P.E.I. — The 32nd annual Stratford and Area Food Drive, in support of The Upper Room Hospitality Ministry, will be held on Saturday, Nov. 19, from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.
Food collection boxes are also in the entryways of over 50 apartment and condo buildings in Stratford. Five drive-thru locations will have volunteers ready to accept non-perishable items or monetary donations:Sobeys Stratford.“Demand continues to be high at The Upper Room and that trend is anticipated to continue as the fall and winter progress,” said Fraser.
Currently, the most-needed items are canned soup, canned fruit and vegetables, coffee, tea, juice, ketchup, mustard, mayo, cookies, crackers, cereal, canned meat and granola bars.
