Specials polls set for Teves’ replacement

The Commission on Election on Friday said it will hold a special election in Negros Oriental on December 9, 2023 to replace Rep. Arnolfo Teves Jr., who is wanted by for the killing of Gov. Roel Degamo and nine others.

He said aspirants for the vacant third district of Negros Oriental have three days, or from Nov. 6 to 8, to file their certificate of candidacy.
