Some roads in Manila will be closed on Thursday night in preparation for a procession to be conducted by the Quiapo Church for Good Friday.

In an advisory posted on its social media account, the City of Manila said the road closure on Maundy Thursday, March 28, will start at 10 p.m.The affected roads are: Northbound and Southbound lane of Quezon Boulevard from A. Mendoza/Fugoso to Quezon Bridge straight to P. Burgos ; Westbound lane of España Boulevard from P. Campa to Lerma Streets; Stretch of Evangelista from C.M. Recto to Villalobos; Northbound lane of Rizal Avenue from Carriedo to C.M.

Mendoza shall turn right to Fugoso Street, left to Rizal Avenue or Tomas Mapua Street. to point of destination.Meanwhile, those coming from Quezon City utilizing westbound lane of España Boulevard shall turn left to Nicanor Reyes Street , turn left to C.M. Recto Ave. or turn right to P. Campa Street, to Fugoso Street to point of destination.Motorists coming from P.
