DUBAI, United Arab Emirates – A 47-year-old single mother from Malabon working in the past 14 years as a driver for an Emirati family need no longer worry about not having her own house for retirement after winning AED100,000 – the equivalent of P1.5 million – in the latest Mahzooz grand draw.
“This is the work of the hands of God. Wala akong bahay sa Pilipinas. Fifteen years na akong nagtatrabaho. Napagtapos ko lang mga anak ko . Ngayon, may pambayad na ako . Puwede nang hindi mangutang. Salamat sa Diyos,” Rachel told GMA News Online in a phone interview.Rachel said she will try her luck again. “Malay mo, manalo ako ng AED10,000,000,” she said.
She said joining the Mahzooz draw is not gambling. “You are able to join in their good deeds as money spent to participate is used to help the less fortunate,” Rachel explained. Those who want to join the weekly draw need only to register on the company's website and purchase bottled water worth AED35, the sale of which is donated to Mahzooz’ community partners caring for or looking after those in need.
Mahzooz is very popular among the Filipino community here with at least one Pinoy winning big in the grand draw held every month.
