The Singapore Cancer Center Inc. has officially opened its doors, offering cutting-edge cancer treatments and a patient-first approach. This state-of-the-art facility, built in partnership with Curie Oncology, aims to be the first European Society for Medical Oncology (ESMO)-certified cancer care center in the Philippines.
CANCER patients can now have access to world-class oncology treatment with the soft opening of the Singapore Cancer Center Inc. on Friday, February 7, 2025.The Singapore Cancer Center Inc., located on the sixth floor of Visayas Medical Center, aims to be the first European Society for Medical Oncology -certified cancer care in the country, providing advanced oncology and palliative care.
Alex Alegrado, Chief Financial Officer and specialist in Thoracic and Genito-Urinary Oncology, said they are excited to bring world-class cancer care to Filipinos with better access to diagnostics, therapies, medications, clinical trials, and expertise.Dr. Omid Etemadi, Chief Operating Officer of Curie Oncology Cebu, also acknowledged the challenges faced by cancer patients during the pandemic.
