Five people have died and 20 were injured due to severe weather conditions caused by the Intertropical Convergence Zone (ITCZ) and a Shear Line in the Philippines. The NDRRMC reported that 436,164 individuals have been affected, with 2,366 seeking refuge in evacuation centers. Infrastructure damage is significant, with power interruptions, impassable roads and bridges, and over 1,000 damaged houses. States of calamity have been declared in several areas, and PAGASA forecasts continued inclement weather.

The National Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Council reported on Friday that five people have died, 20 were injured, and two are missing due to severe weather conditions caused by the Intertropical Convergence Zone and a Shear Line .According to the NDRRMC bulletin, the casualties were recorded in Regions II, IV-A, IV-B, V, VIII, and XI.In total, 436,164 individuals or 139,000 families have been affected by the adverse weather.
