NSW SES Media Officer Andrew McCullough warns residents and drivers to “make safe decisions” amid major flooding in Menindee.

Levels are predicted to rise from the current river level of 10.25 metres to 10.27 metres in the next few days.

“People think it’s only a small amount and drive when the road has disappeared,” Mr McCullough told Sky News Australia.“Flood fatigue is setting in and people are getting tired of months of being evacuated and isolated. We ask that people still continue to take action.
