PAGUDPUD, Ilocos Norte – The Department of Public Works and Highways -Region I said Sunday, Sept. 25, that the Manila North Road, Kilometer 578+800, in Sitio Banquero, Barangay Pancian, here will be closed anytime due to super typhoon “Karding” and isolated heavy rains.
THIS section of the Manila North Road in Pagudpud, Ilocos Norte will be shut down due to super typhoon ‘Karding.’ The DPWH added the road section will also be closed for clearing and safety and is monitoring the area for recurrence of landslides. A DPWH team was deployed to assist motorists on the road section. In addition, equipment was also deployed near the area to clear debris and landslides.
