THE City Government of Bacolod is now facilitating the land title for the informal settlers who were already transferred to the city's relocation sites, Councilor Vladimir Gonzales, chairperson of the City Council committee on urban poor, housing, and resettlement, said Friday, October 13.
He said they already amended City Ordinance 269, or the Homelot Ordinance of Bacolod City.He added that based on their consultation, the majority of the beneficiaries agreed to pay P20 a day or at least P600 a month through Bacolod Housing Authority and Pag-Ibig.Gonzales stressed that it's the target of Mayor Alfredo Abelardo Benitez to provide a land title to the relocation site beneficiaries.
