Tycoon Enrique Razon Jr.’s Prime Infrastructure Capital Inc. on Wednesday announced it has begun the construction of its 140-megawatt (MW) solar power plants in Tanauan, Batangas and Maragondon, Cavite. In a statement, Prime Infra said the solar plants are targeted to start commercial operations by the year’s end.
Tycoon Enrique Razon Jr.’s Prime Infrastructure Capital Inc. on Wednesday announced it has begun the construction of its 140-megawatt solar power plants in Tanauan, Batangas and Maragondon, Cavite.
The company said the solar power projects were implemented through its unit Solar Tanauan Corporation. The Tanauan and Maragondon solar power plants will have an installed gross capacity of up to 140 MW with total annual generation capacity estimated at 202 gigawatt hours which is expected to power over 84,000 households and displace over 100,000 tons of coal per year.
