A low pressure area east of Surigao del Sur will bring rains to several parts of the country, according to PAGASA on Tuesday.
Based on its 24-hour public forecast, the weather bureau reported the LPA and the shear line will spur cloudy skies with scattered rain showers and thunderstorms over Visayas, Mindanao, and the Bicol Region. The LPA was seen 425 kilometers east of Hinatuan, Surigao del Sur, at 3 p.m. Cloudy skies with rains will prevail in Cagayan Valley, Aurora, and Quezon due to the Northeast Monsoon , which may also cause flash floods or landslides.
Metro Manila and the rest of Luzon will experience partly cloudy to cloudy skies with light rains, but the weather agency expects it to have no significant impact in these areas. Forecast winds in the country remain moderate to strong, to be accompanied by moderate to rough coastal water conditions. —
