In its latest situational report, the NDRRMC said the Mimaropa, Bicol, Western Visayas, Central Visayas, Eastern Visayas, Zamboanga Peninsula, Northern Mindanao, Davao, and Caraga Regions received assistance. The assistance was composed of family food packs, emergency shelters, hygiene kits, blankets, bottled water, and other relief items.Of those affected, 16,300 individuals, or 4,711 families, remained in 100 evacuation centers; while 40,918 people, or 10,909 families, took shelter in other places.
The reported death toll remained at 52, of which 13 were confirmed, with 39 others still up for validation.The NDRRMC said the damage to agriculture stood at P325,279,850.12. The National Irrigation Administration also recorded P2,050,000 worth of damage.The shear line also damaged 5,152 houses, with the damage valued at P101,615,000.— DVM, GMA Integrated News
