PETALING JAYA: The results of applications to study in public universities for the 2023/2024 academic session are out on Thursday (Sept 7).
“Confirmation of acceptance or rejection of the offer can be done on the universities’ website from Sept 8 to 16.
“Offer letters will be issued by the public university to successful applicants from Sept 8 after the applicant has confirmed acceptance within the given timeframe,” it said in a statement today . The ministry said that offers were made based on meritocracy taking into account 90% academic and 10% co-curriculum achievements for STPM, matriculation, foundation and Sijil Tinggi Agama Malaysia holders, whereas it is 100% academic achievements for diploma or equivalent holders.
“Based on the principle of meritocracy, all qualified applicants with the highest merit scores regardless of race, religion, state, standard of living and place of residence are given the opportunity to study at public universities,” it added.upu.mohe.gov.
