Tropical Depression EgayPH, with an international name 'Doksuri,' maintained its strength while 'slowly' moving west northwestward, the state weather bureau said on Saturday, July 22. READ:

In its latest bulletin issued at 5 a.m., the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration spotted the tropical depression 815 kilometers east of southern Luzon.

Tropical depression Egay may reach its peak in a "super typhoon" category on Tuesday or Wednesday while in the Philippine Sea east of Extreme Northern Luzon. PAGASA said "Egay" is moving west northwestward at 10 kilometers per hour with maximum sustained winds of 55 kph and gustiness of up to 70 kph.

"Possible na tayo mag taas ng wind signal or babala sa hangin dito sa area ng Bicol Region and Eastern Visayas ," Estareja stated.Tropical Depression Egay may reach its peak in a "super typhoon" category on Tuesday or Wednesday while in the Philippine Sea east of Extreme Northern Luzon, PAGASA said.
