Police conducted three separate buy-bust operations in Taguig, Pasay, Paranaque, and Valenzuela, resulting in the arrest of seven individuals, six of whom were high-value targets. According to National Capital Region Police Office director Maj. Gen. Jose Melencio Nartatez Jr., these anti-narcotics operations are part of the continuing crackdown on drug dealing in Metro Manila.
Five hours later, another entrapment was conducted in Barangay 193, Zone 20, Pasay, which led to the arrest of Crisanto Singo, also known as Boss, 50 years old, and the confiscation of 54.1 grams of shabu. Another high-value target, Edgardo Basas Jr. and his companion Mark Divinagracia, were arrested in Barangay New Lower Bicutan, Taguig City. Seized from them were 100 grams of shabu, a blue pouch, and marked money used in the operation.
Fifty grams of shabu, one mobile phone, a coin pouch, and marked money were recovered from the suspects. “Appropriate criminal charges are being prepared for filing against the suspects at the respective prosecutor’s office,” said Nartatez.
