Nakatala ang Philippine National Police og 29 ka mga kamatayon nga may kalabutan sa pagkalumos atol sa pag-obserbar sa Semana Santa.Sumala kini ni Colonel Jean Fajardo, hepe sa PNP Public Information Office , niadtong Dominggo, Marso 31, 2024.Sa interbyo sa radyo, si Fajardo niingon nga 34 ka mga insidente sa pagkalumos ang natala sa Calabarzon, Ilocos, Cagayan ug Bicol sugod sa alas 6:00 sa buntag niadtong Marso 24.
“Meron tayong dalawang incidents na near drowning pero dahil sa maagap na presence ng ating mga pulis particularly diyan sa Ilocos Sur, apat na taon ‘yung muntik na malunod diyan, buti na lang ‘yung pulis natin nasagip ito at nakapag-perform sila ng CPR kaya naligtas nila ‘yung 4-year-old na bata kaya ito ay nasa magandang kundisyon,” dason niya.
