Kuala Lumpur: The Dewan Rakyat has unanimously passed a voice vote to elect Mas Ermieyati Samsudin (PN-Masjid Tanah) as Public Accounts Committee (PAC) chairman.

The PAC was previously led by Wong Kah Woh, who was the Ipoh Timur MP, and his deputy was former Beaufort MP Azizah Dun. He is now the MP for Taiping. Meanwhile, Wong Shu Qi was voted in as the new deputy chairman of the PAC.Apart from the chairman and deputy chairman, the committee will include six to 12 members who will be nominated by a selection committee to be established.
