MANILA, Philippines: The PLDT High Speed Hitters retaliated with a sweep against the Capital 1 Solar Spikers, 25-13, 25-15, 25-16, to bounce back from a loss in the Premier Volleyball League 2024 All-Filipino Conference at the FIlOil EcoOil Centre in San Juan on Saturday, March 9.PLDT overpowered Capital 1 in the attacking department, making 47 successful attack points while the Solar Spikers only had 27.
Savannah Davison flaunted her form against the Solar Spikers, tallying 22 points built on 19 attacks, two blocks, and an ace.'I always think that there is room for improvement. Moving forward we try to get better every day,' Davison said in a post-game presser.Fiola Ceballos also scored 10 points for PLDT and Erika Santos added six points.In Capital 1 side, Heather Guino-o and Sydney Niegos led the team with six points each as no other Solar Spikers scored in double digits.
