Philippines registers 9,069 new COVID-19 cases from November 7-13

The Philippines logged 9,069 new COVID-19 infections between November 7 and November 13, the Department of Health (DOH) said on Monday.

According to its weekly bulletin, the DOH said the daily case average for last week was 1,296 — 43% higher than the 907 cases monitored from October 31 to November 6.

"Of the figures, 39 occurred in November 2022, 42 in October 2022, 13 in September 2022, two in August 2022, four in March 2021, four in February 2021, four in January 2021, one in December 2020, three in November 2020, and one in September 2020," the DOH said. Out of the 2,465 intensive care unit beds, 524 or 21.3% were occupied while 5,363 or 25.8% of the non-ICU COVID-19 beds were in use.
