MANILA- The Philippines is hopeful that it will be prioritized by China once the latter finds a cure for the new coronavirus disease, Malacañang said Thursday.

"Inaasahan natin dahil BFF naman tayo ng China na 'pag sila nagkaroon ng gamot na ganyan eh unahin naman nila tayo," Roque said in a virtual press briefing.So far, the world has yet to find a cure or vaccine for COVID-19. "I would like to thank President Xi Jinping for his support. Kung galing ng China, wala kayong problema," Duterte said in a public address on Monday.
