A Quezon City court has sentenced a woman to life imprisonment and imposed a P2-million fine for violating the Anti-Online Sexual Abuse and Exploitation of Children (OSAEC) and Anti-Child Sexual Abuse and Exploitation Materials (CSAEM) Act. The case began with a referral from the US Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) to the Philippine authorities who launched an in-depth investigation. The woman was found to be exploiting minor victims for live-streamed sexual abuse and selling illicit images online. This case highlights the disturbing reality that many OSAEC crimes are facilitated by family members.

A QUEZON City court has sentenced a woman to life imprisonment and imposed a P2-million fine for violating the Anti-Online Sexual Abuse and Exploitation of Children and Anti-Child Sexual Abuse and Exploitation Materials Act.The court issued its decision on February 3, 2025. In an earlier ruling on September 24, 2024, another Quezon City court found the woman and her husband guilty of qualified trafficking, sentencing both to life imprisonment and a P2-million fine.

Her partner was also arrested, and digital evidence of child sexual exploitation was seized.During post-rescue interviews, the victims disclosed that their mother had been taking explicit photos of them and selling them online since 2021. They also revealed that their father was aware of and complicit in the abuse.
