The affected officers were surprised by this latest directive from the PNP, which took effect on November 25. The special order was signed by Police Major General Edgar Alan Okubo, the PNP Acting Chief of the Directorial Staff. She further explained that the decision from the National Headquarters was made recently, resulting in these officers being assigned to various regions outside of Mindanao instead of being placed at the PNP-PHAU.
