The government plans to establish a naval base in Misamis Oriental , according to Defense Secretary Gilbert Teodoro on Saturday.Speaking to reporters, Teodoro said the proposed naval base will act as the base of the Philippine Naval Operations in Mindanao and will be the home of the Philippine Air Force’s 15th Strike Wing.“May runway na tayo, secure ang runway at pinalalakihan na rin ang rampa para ganon may bagsakan ng goods at services.
Pinatutupad lang natin, pinabibilisan lang natin… It makes sense na nung nilisan ito, tinake over ng Philippine Air Force; make use of it.
