STATE VISIT TO THE CZECH REPUBLIC. Markéta Pekarová Adamová, Speaker of the Chamber of Deputies of the Czech Republic, welcomes President Ferdinand R. Marcos, Jr. during the President’s state visit to the Czech Republic. Discussions during the bilateral meeting focused on cooperation, defense collaboration and economic opportunities between the Philippines and the Czech Republic. Accompanying the President for the meeting are Speaker Ferdinand Martin G.
During his three-day state visit to the Czech Republic, President Marcos, in an interview with the Philippine media delegation, shared his plan to procure the vaccines. The President also said that the Department of Agriculture is currently engaged in exploratory discussions with its Czech counterpart to bolster the Philippines’ livestock industry.
