MANILA, Philippines: The Department of Foreign Affairs (DFA) on Sunday said it was 'not aware' of any 'model arrangement' being referred to by the Chinese Embassy in Manila with regard to Ayungin Shoal in the West Philippine Sea.
MANILA, Philippines: The Department of Foreign Affairs on Sunday said it was 'not aware' of any 'model arrangement' being referred to by the Chinese Embassy in Manila with regard to Ayungin Shoal in the West Philippine Sea.The DFA reiterated its firm position that the Philippines has 'not entered into agreement abandoning its sovereign rights and jurisdiction over its exclusive economic zone and continental shelf, including on the Ayungin Shoal .
The DFA said the Secretary of National Defense and National Security Adviser have both 'denied the existence of any informal arrangements on the Ayungin Shoal shows the untruthfulness of China's narrative.
