TRADE Secretary Cristina Roque has underscored the Philippines' push for inclusive and digital transformation to strengthen its trade and fi-nancial ecosystems during the World Economic Forum's annual meeting in Davos, Switzerland.Speaking at the Innovative Trade Financing Forum on Thursday , Roque said the country has tapped advanced technolo-gies, such as artificial intelligence and digital tools, to transform supply chains, e-commerce and services trade.
She also called for greater collaboration among policymakers, business leaders, technologists and advocates to build an ecosystem that em-powers all segments of the business community.The Philippines' strategy aligns with the administration's 'Bagong Pilipinas' initiative, which prioritizes economic growth and innovation.Roque also engaged with AstraZeneca executives at the WEF to explore collaborations in AI and digital health.
