PH gears up for Development Policy Research Month, focuses on building a resilient middle class
THE Philippine Institute for Development Studies will launch the 22nd Development Policy Research Month this September, focusing on the importance of evidence-based policy research for national development. Established by Malacañang Proclamation No. 247, DPRM is held annually to emphasize the role of rigorous research in shaping effective policies.
DPRM kicks off on September 5 with a forum and press conference at Novotel, Quezon City, aimed at engaging media partners to raise public awareness about policy research. The month culminates with the 10th Annual Public Policy Conference on September 19 at Makati Shangri-La Hotel. This event will focus on how the Philippines can navigate global trends and capitalize on opportunities to foster inclusive growth, with discussions on policies and governance needed to strengthen the middle class.
