A 35-year-old pedestrian was killed and four others were injured after being struck by a speeding SUV in Lapu-Lapu City, Philippines. The incident occurred on December 16, 2024, at around 3:10 PM on ML Quezon Highway when a Canadian national, identified as William, 36, lost control of his vehicle and plowed into a group of pedestrians waiting for a multicab. The driver is currently in custody as authorities prepare to file charges against him.
