The Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) on Friday began the first training day of the newly hired Drug Enforcement Officers’ Basic Course (DEOBC) Class 2019-16 at PDEA Academy, Camp General Mariano N. Castañeda, Silang Cavite.
The 86-strong 16th batch — 64 men and 22 women of PDEA agents, took their oath of commitment indicating the commencement of their six-month comprehensive and regimented training on drug law enforcement.
The training will be anchored on the established PDEA Core Values: Professional, Dynamic, Excellence-Driven and Accountable. “Experts will be invited to handle the specialized subjects throughout the course. Upon graduation, the new agents will be deployed to different Regional, District and Provincial Offices nationwide. They will be great addition to the force,” Aquino said.
This is the largest recruitment of DEOs in the history of PDEA under the leadership of Director General Aquino.
