MANILA, Philippines — The Philippine Coast Guard recorded 14,441 outbound and 10,476 inbound passengers from midnight until 6 a.m. on Christmas Day. The PCG also said it deployed 2,081 frontline personnel who inspected 128 vessels and 59 motorbancas in different ports nationwide.From December 15 to January 7, the country’s coast guard is on “heightened alert” to assist in the mobility of port passengers during the holidays.
