The business community on Wednesday gave a positive assessment of President Ferdinand Marcos Jr.’s administration after its first 100 days in office.
“The first 100 days of the administration have been quite positive,” Philippine Chamber of Commerce and Industry president George Barcelon said at a press conference in Manila.Barcelon cited Marcos’ efforts in getting the country "on the radar” of the international community.
In terms of the business sector’s confidence in the Marcos administration, Barcelon gave a score of eight out of 10.“From the point of confidence of the business sector, the confidence is probably eight. The administration would be able to handle some pressing issues,” he said.
