The Philippine Animal Welfare Society (PAWS) has introduced a new Pet-Friendly Recognition Seal to acknowledge establishments that genuinely welcome and care for pets in their operations.
The recognition seal will be given to establishments that practice genuine inclusivity to pets in their operationsWith the topic of animal inclusivity circulating on the internet recently, the Philippine Animal Welfare Society has launched a Pet-Friendly Recognition Seal for establishments that are genuinely inclusive of pets in their regular operations.
The recognition seal aims to support establishments that care for pets, serving as part of the organization’s commitment to supporting causes that advocate for the safety and welfare of animals. “Animal advocates understand the power of supporting causes that reflect our shared passion for animals. One way we uphold this commitment is by supporting establishments that serve as safe havens for our pets,” the organization said in its post announcing the recognition seal.
Notably, PAWS has recognized local pet-friendly businesses that have clear guidelines, which are a testament to their genuine care and respect for all kinds of pets. With the recognition seal, patrons of an establishment can be assured that it has passed PAWS’ evaluation process, proving that the restaurant, shop, or facility truly welcomes all kinds of companion pets.
Further details regarding the recognition seal have yet to be released. However, PAWS encourages individuals to email [email protected] about any establishment they believe deserves recognition.
