Continuous rains expected to be brought by Tropical Depression AmangPH may cause water levels in dams to rise, the Pagasa said.
“By Huwebes hanggang Biyernes makakaranas po tayo ng mga kaulapan at pagulan na dala netong si Amang. So by that time po posibleng tumaas ang mga level ng ating mga dams dahil may mga pagulan po tayong mararanasan,” Villamil said.
Villamil also warned the public against flash floods, landslides, and overflowing bodies of water brought by Tropical Depression Among. “Maging alerto at handa po tayo sa mga banta ng biglaang pagbaha o pagguho ng lupa, posible rin po kasi ang pag-apaw ng ating mga ilog at dalampasigan lalong-lalo na kung tuloy tuloy ang pagulan na mararanasan.” Villamil added.The following areas are under Signal No. 1 as of 11 a.m., April 11, 2023:
