Police confiscated more than P100 million worth of shabu in simultaneous anti-criminality operations within 24 hours in Region 7.

Police Brig. Gen. Roque Eduardo, director of the Police Regional Office-Central Visayas , said the series of police operations dubbed Synchronized Enhanced Managing Police Operation started 12:01 a.m. July 9 and ended 12:01 a.m. July 10.

Vega said a total of 165 anti-illegal drug operations were conducted that resulted in the arrest of 199 alleged drug personalities, some of whom were considered high-value individuals in the police drug watch list.“The war on drugs will continue and it will be in accordance with the law particularly with human rights. Help us in this campaign,” said Vega.

In the anti-illegal gambling operations, 266 gamblers were arrested, while assorted gambling paraphernalia and P20,812 were seized. In the campaign against loose firearms, 22 were arrested in 194 operations conducted while 221 firearms and five explosives were seized.
