OTS and ICAO Launch Digital Aviation Security Oversight Software

The Office for Transportation Security (OTS) and the International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO) have introduced the Aviation Security Oversight, Reporting, and Resolution Software (ORR). Developed by ICAO's Lita Lee, the software aims to streamline compliance reporting for the Philippines' civil aviation security. National Aviation Security Auditors of OTS received training on ORR, enabling them to generate efficient reports and strengthen oversight activities.

The Office for Transportation Security and the International Civil Aviation Organization have launched the Aviation Security Oversight, Reporting, and Resolution Software .The ORR was developed by Lita Lee, the ICAO Cooperative Aviation Security Programme-Asia Pacific Training and Capacity Building Officer, who also conducted an orientation for the National Aviation Security Auditors of OTS ’ Civil Aviation Security Division .

This training equipped them with the knowledge needed to use the software effectively, facilitating the efficient generation of compliance reports. “This transition to a digital platform will significantly enhance our compliance activities. With the launch of the ORR, we have the opportunity to expedite our reporting processes, which will further improve our timely actions to safeguard the civil aviation ecosystem,” OTS Undersecretary Crizaldo Nieves said.

“Effective oversight and compliance monitoring are crucial to maintaining adherence to both national and international standards,” he added.
