MANILA, Philippines – Telecommunications companies have urged the government to consider extending the deadline of the SIM card registration, as users with no IDs or internet connection struggle to comply.and its value brand TNT filed a formal letter of request to ask the Department of Information and Communications Technology and the National Telecommunications Commission for an extension of the mandated April 26, 2023 deadline for subscribers to register their SIMs.
